I really want to like this book as it could be a good reference for odd air battles.

The authors have produced a vast number of books for P&S , in fact the sheer quantity raises alarm bells for me as to how can you fit research in between producing books at this speed. However I have not read any of their books so my view is based on this concern, comments in reviews, and flicking through copies which I then put back on the shelf.

A great shame as I think this could be a very interesting subject. I will take a look at Dust clouds.

It's a fascinating subject, and I was interested in this book. Until I read the reviews on Amazon that is. I was lucky to find a copy of the Ehrengardt/Shores book around the same time at a reasonable price instead.

I picked up a couple of their books as downloads during the recent P&S sale and have been disappointed by both. :-(

I have read it and it is very good, also the Christopher Shores book, dust clouds. Christopher Shores books are very technical with the day to day returns and diary entries. Aviation buffs love his books and they are a worth while addition to your bookshelf! I have done Vichy vs USN…American aircraft vs American aircraft but nothing in the middle east … yet!
