This was made by the Official Channel (Government)and I saw it for my first time.
Not TOTALLY BAD, but I don't remember to see so clean soldiers from our side in the front line.(smile)
And with full equipment! (smile). One of them also were a white scarf without a single stain! (smile).
Well, pure s… but at least showing something from our side.
You have to see only the first seven minutes.

Hey Armand,

We're is this action suppose to take place? I get that it's the Falklands but what part? I don't speak Spanish so I can't follow what's going on.

Armand, thanks for the find. I assume these troops are meant to represent conscripts.

Regardless, Have a Happy Easter, FPR

I hope they cast someone suitably dashing to play you!

I don't know were it was.
I don't follow the serie (it seems that it have many chapters).
Of course they "represent" conscripts, but the real ones looks much more younger than those actors.
Darthfozzywig…! (smile).

Happy Easter to you too boys!.

PS; The uniforms they wear would be from the Army (not Marine Infantry), but they looks like if they had left the dry cleaner some minutes before! (smile).
Also, those are very well feeded soldiers.
I lost near 28 kgs there and no more because I hunt sheeps for me and my men.
The weapons are in a superb condition and it seems they had a lot of ammo to used.
I don't remember the british helmets with branches and leaves.

With respect to the camouflaged helmets, here's a photo showing some: link

So maybe they were just at a different location than you, Armand!

One question, though--how common was the issue of goggles (and their placement on the helmets) during that conflict? I don't understand Spanish--so not sure who the two characters were that had the goggles up--were they used (in the show) to represent officers or main characters?

Hope everyone has a fine Easter.

Rob

Some units have goggles, mostly not.
By memory, those who were near Puerto Argentino/Port Stanley looks more or less like those guys (in the rear).
There were not significance uniform differences between troops and officers.
The "old" guy with the machine gun seems to be an NCO.
Mostly of the NCO I know (the older ones) before combat were released to the rear (Excuse: They have family (!) and because their physical condition (fat mostly).
The other ones (From First Sergeant to up) literaly run at the first shot.
Mostly from Sergeant, First Corporal, Corporal and Dragoneante stay, fight and dead.
Same thing about officers.
From Captain to up run before the battle (all of them with excuses), the juniors (as myself) stay and fight.
All of this from my own experience.

Happy Easter to you too! (smile).
