It looks good! I like your idea of using a truck mat for the forest template. Did you run into any issues in terms of getting paint and/or your groundwork to stick to it?

Lovely, my only comment is that the farm and garden walls be higher, 6ft high is common in rural Normandy and thick as well.

Thank you. I am hoping the rubber mat will retain the terraining. I abraded it first and then sprayed it with rustoleum raw umber. It seems OK, but only transport will tell.

I agree about the walls, I have just ordered some 28 mm scale from Cresent Root in their new MDF line, they are 1" tall so scale to >6' in 20 mm, they are quite thick too, so hopefully they will do. They are brick but easy enough to stucco.
