Like it says on the tin, I'm looking for diagrams of troop formations, specifically for the Peninsular War (but I will certainly accept others). I'm planning on using O8's 3mm troops and model battalions about 1:1 (I think it works out to 3 minis for every 4 actual men), so I want to put the sergeants, officers, file closers, etc in their proper locations. Where would I find that information, and are there any diagrams of it (yes, I'm feeling lazy, I don't want to translate text into pictures before basing my troops). Thanks in advance! |

Osprey has published 4 volumes on Infantry and Cavalry tactics in the Napoleonic wars which are replete with these types of diagrams. The late, great Paddy Griffith's one on French Infantry tactics specifically addresses the Peninsular, and I think the British one does too
