Some very nice, bright looking figures on show. You sure managed to get everything on the table! What rules are you using? |

That was a fantastic report. I just visited the Somme battlefield so I really appreciate WWI. |

Thanks Wargamer Blue

Phil, thank you for AAR and lovely photos. I love 'The Mirror'. Very nice touch! In August, a group of us are planning to game the First Battle of the Marne. The location will be town of Dormans. This is particularly apt because of the huge memorial there. The game will take in the battles between the German First and Second Armies versus the French 5th, 6th and 9th Armies plus the BEF. We are planning to use 11 tables. You and your colleagues would be very welcome to join us. Robert |

Perhaps taxis are like buses – hopefully. You wait for one and then a whole lot come at once. The demonstration will be for the whole week of 4-8th August. I can appreciate that it may be difficult to make the trip but hopefully the spectacle will be worth even a brief visit. Our goal is to help everyone locally to understand the true scale of what happened from the Ourcq to the St Gond marshes. Here's hoping you can join us

@Robert : I'll write the date an the location to the club members, perhaps some of us could go there
in a taxi, may be? I'll write the result here when I have the answer
@Patrice : the train seems to be a 'Jouef', an old brand
Cheers, Phil. |
