As you have hopefully noticed, there's a membership drive at the moment, with the money being donated to help Alexa's family recover after a robbery. Alexa is our quietest editor, but you see her name at the bottom of Hobby News stories all the time – she does most of the text-editing for TMP currently. She is hard working and always has a positive attitude – her nickname here is "The Champion" because she seems to actually enjoy the times when work is heaviest here. It is a custom in the Philippines to leave the city and visit the provinces during Holy Week. The robbers apparently knew that the family was gone. Alexa, who was leaving separately, came home to discover the aftermath: TV, radio, fans, money, even food stolen. Obviously, trying to survive without fans in Manila in the heat is not going to be pleasant. Therefore, I encourage you to be generous in our membership drive. |

How about a way to just donate money for Alexa? I would give to help a friend, so why not? You can send money via Moneygram or Western Union, in her mother's name: "Erlinda Goyal" Then PM Editor Alexa with the exact name of the sender, the amount sent, and the reference number. TMP link |
