Hello everyone

Some recent painting of mine of some Empress Maori including the infamous Hone Heke. More on my blog as per usual. Much more on the way soon.

I really loved these in the LPL, voted for them too. I'm looking forward to more in the coming weeks.

The figures and paintin are lovely, but I must take issue:
Hone Heke? Infamous? In the 19th Century, amongst the settlers, perhaps. BUt hardly a bad guy now.

I second advocate's comment, and I agree the painting is well done.

Beautifully painted, especially those patterns on the clothing.

And I love how you've got Johnny Hickey's cloak collar to really look like bird feathers.

What an awesome paint job.
How did you do the bases, are those flowering astelias? ( Please excuse, botany meets wargaming)

Tinopai mahi e hoa.

Cheers
