Just bought some 28mm and was wondering if I could have some recommendations for where you can get various bits and bobs for the scale Cheers |

Hey John, welcome back! I hope you had a great time; must've been fantastic if you're back and claiming to have some new toys ;) Having said that, what's with you buying some 28mm stuff? You have some of the best looking stuff around, put in all that work in 20mm, and now you're switching up? To your original post, no idea, I'm a 10mm/6mm/3mm guy ;) V/R, Jack |

What bits and bobs did you need? If it's general infantry gear like backpacks, helmets, ammo bandoliers, I highly recommend Warlord's plastic infantry kits. If it's crates, sandbags and 55 gal drums for terrain spruce up, I recommend Pegasus prepainted stuff. |

Hello Jack! Yes was a great trip, not easy coming back to the snow and ice of Alberta though. No I haven't switched at all, just added another arrow to my quiver (although its more like adding another quiver to my mountain of quivers
theres only so many you can carry on your back you know) I thought for sure youd have at least a couple more thousand armies painted Privateer was actually prepainted crates and the like
.thank you |

Around Christmastime last year, Warlord had a sale on loose plastic sprues. I don't recall whether "equipment sprues" were on the list, but I think they were. Now, whether this might become a Christmas tradition, or merely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I can't say. I bought the Tamiya 1:48 scale German SdKfz Halftrack. In there, for gear to sling about the halftrack, they had a half plastic sprue of German infantry equipment. It ranges anywhere from gear to hand weapons to a Panzerfaust, a couple helmets and cloth caps, and so on. The size matched extremely well with the same gear from Warlord's plastic sprues. And for 55 gal drums and such, again look at Tamiya's 1:48 scale sets. Their drums matched very well with TooFatLardie's resin-cast Jump Off Points for Chain of Command, for instance. |

Scheltrum produces a few different sets of parts in the Revolutionary range. Oil drums are scaled better in 1:48 or O gauge. Try Tichy Trains. Boxes and crates are readily available on EvilBay. 😁 |
