This time is the turn for the Shogunate forces, painted as Aizu clan troops. The Aizu was a powerful clan that supported to Shogun until his last days. The history of his Byakkotai (White Tiger Regiment) was that inspired the design of these figures.

And remember that Bac Ninh Miniatures will be at Salute, via Empress Miniatures.

I'm considering going for a later era Buntai for Ronin with these using the rules in the back of the book…these seem to fit that rather well…looks like they're even based for it

Borathan, they are based to play with rules as Triumph & Tragedy and his Colonial supplement, Smooth & Rifled, Ronin or Sharp Practice.
By the way, you can see inside the book a nice picture of Bac Ninh Miniatures. ;-)
