what type of uniform foot artillery gun teams have. are they the same as horse artillery. David |

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking here. If you are talking about the gunners themselves, then ThomasG is correct and the link he provides will give you what you need. But when you ask about "gun teams" I tend to think about the limber drivers and horse team handlers. In this case you are talking about an entirely different organization than the foot or horse artillery, the Royal Corps of Artillery Drivers. Yes I meant the horse team handlers.I had the impression that foot artillery were handled with shako gunner type uniforms Thanks |

Yes. Foot Artillery gunners wore a very similar looking uniform to Line Infantry, except that the coat was blue instead of red. Drivers, who handled the horse teams, wore a uniform very similar the Royal Horse Artillery. |

horse teams riders for foot artillery were provided by the Corps of Artillery Drivers, , in the later Napoleonic period they had the fur crested helmet and the blue jacket had a sort of plastron style front. |
