This would be a fascinating scenario to replay. Also, this short film would guide you through the whole thing. Also, all the necessary models are available.

Check it out:

There have also been at least 3 movies that I can think of. Raid On Entebbe, Victory At Entebbe, and Operation Thunderbolt: Entebbe.

This was done at Historicon 5-6, maybe 10 years ago. Huge layout in 25mm of the airport, all the Israeli planes on the tarmac, along with the Air France plane. Even Amin's limo was on the table. Very impressive. I have no photos but someone must have them.

It was put on by the Bunker/Wargames Holiday Centre I think… and I'm sure it was 20mm. I remember the airport buildings were converted Scalectrix buildings.

Isn't the scenario in the Force On Force book? Or one of the supplements?

The Osprey on the raid is a good one.

You could probably use 1/72 Revell or Airfix its for the planes.

This is one BADASS scenario, in every sense of the phrase

I have the correct plane in 72 scale, (airbus a300), but it is big, a bit too big for a smaller game!
you do not want Israeli figs as on the raid they wore European style camo uniforms/jungle hats and had fn rifles, not very Israeli looking.
the osprey book is well worth getting, lots of details for a game like the vehicles/airport ect.

Still think the best film is Raid on Entebbe, closely followed by Operation Thunderbolt. Victory at Entebbe is just a non entity for me.

Out of curiosity is the Entebbe Raid in any Force on Force books?

SPI did some games of multiple raid scenarios. I think I have it in an old Strategy & Tactics magazine.

Zoneofcontrol,
Any chance you can send me a copy?

Much appreciated

Raid On Entebbe is included in SPI game "Raid!"

Raid! – contained in Strategy & Tactics #64 from 1977 and a boxed version released in 1978. As per BoardgameGeek:

I cannot put my hands on my copy at the moment. I recently moved and have stuff stored at three different places as well as my current home. I just checked and there are several copies on eBay for under $10.00 USD

Matakishi's Tea House has some really neat stuff on it about Entebbe. Worth a look:

I looked on Web-Grognards too. They don't show the game but do have a link to errata from S & T # 64 which was published in S & T #65:
