I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas to make durable wargaming hessian tape for 28mm. I have done it with cheese cloth and masking tape strips in 1/35, but I doubt that would hold up to wargame level handling. Any other suggestions? These Fireflys and Cromwells look naked, poor things. |

I would do what that bloke did and just put it on turrets or rolled on the back deck. Fine bandage gauze and thin paper strips dipped in acrylic paint. Dip and drape using tweezers. You neeed thin paper or the strips won't conform and drape properly and will look like a bunch of green planks or something. Top quality kitchen scissors to cut the paper without tearing.
