An amazing source of information for someone looking at the social history of women in the 3rd Reich. nazi took power in Jan of 1933 but already had the infrastructure to publish such a magazine. |

Not much to read, just odes to the joy of waking up early to serve coffee to the Work Service, or what that meany Prime Minister Dollfuss is up to next door in Austria (he really should be taught a lesson). Neat to see ads for Singer sewing machines, though. The Nazis were well organised before taking power; apparently the BDM dated back to the 1920s: link |
