For those of you interested, the campaign preceding what will be another enormous imagi-nations bash in East Ayton, Yorkshire at the beginning of May has commenced. You can follow my updates at henrys-wargaming.co.uk

There are 12 participants commanding 15 nations. I am umpiring, and we are using rules based on those in my book link and previously published in Battlegames, with some amendments because of the number of players (in other words, I'll be doing a bit of free kriegsspieling where necessary).

Secret proceedings opened on 1st April, both in campaign terms and real life, to keep things simple!

A private affair one assumes, or is this open to all comers?

The campaign participants have already booked their places, but the campaign reports and so forth are being broadcast on my blog so that anyone interested in 18th century imagi-nations and/or campaigning in general can follow it.

Marc, this is part of what has become an annual bash at East Ayton. It's only Private is so much as it tends to be organised by members on the 'Loose Association of Wargamers' forum, thelaofwargamers.prophpbb.com normally several months in advance.
The weekend is now in it's forth year and is the third to be an C18th Campaign.
Players come from all over the Country and even from the other side of the world so if you were interested for next year coming from Essex wouldn't be an issue for anyone involved :-)
