I found this book series about the English Civil war and would like to know if anyone has read them and what they think.

I've read Traitor's Blood and thought it a good read.I'm keen to read the rest of the series but haven't seen any copies in local bookshops. Certainly worth reading.

I agree. Reading the 3rd in the series now. Like Cornwell's Sharpe, small group of characters on special missions with big battles thrown in. Sex, violence, diplomacy, good and evil. Kind of like Nicholas Carter's ECW series only in Arnold's, the main character is a Royalist.

Cool, thanks for sharing – I have one of Carter's books and really enjoyed it; finding used copies of the others has been a Bleeped text, so I'll look out for the Traitor's Blood series too now.

I picked these books up at Naseby last year £10.00 GBP each in hardback. A good read.
