He's from the the Swedish Regiment Oxenstierna, which I believe was in Netherlands service at the time. |

There might be grounds for caution on that illustration, see the discussion here; link The original picture, since removed in that post, was not this one but they were very similar, and probably shared the same source. Certainly lapels on a Swedish coat in 1700 would have been rather unusual. |

those 19th century illustrations are sometimes a little off
sometimes a LOT off
