To combat my ever growing pile of lead I decided to start doing themed months where I'd just focus on one or two subjects to get projects done or at least well on their way.

As the first month I present Airborne April. I'm trying to finish the last parts of my Flames of War 101st and a reinforced platoon of Red Devils in 28mm to use with Bolt Action and Chain of Command.

First up I have the command elements and the three final rifle teams for the 101st. Resin bases from Kerr&King. Tried painting the flag and insignia on their uniform and even if I say so myself I think they turned out rather nicely.

I'll be tracking my progress in this "challenge" on my blog if you are interested: engineered-gaming.blogspot.fi

Nice work and steady hand! Love the unit patches on figures that small.

Nice stuff. I have these chaps to Individually base and paint for BA and CoC too. Sadly they're behind the Germans (but in front of my Brits) in my endless painting queue (trying to get least favourite stuff done first). Thanks for the inspiration. I like the thematic month motivation system.
