Seemingly Old Glory UK no longer carries the 'Old School style' Jackdaw miniatures: they are not listed on the site and a 'search' gets no result. Their 'good old "60 years' style is not universally appreciated, but some figurines such as the minuetting couple(s?) among their 'civilians' were unique. So, who carries them now? They were sculpted by by David Wilson – who also did many of the "New Willie" range: but the Spence Smith / Tradition of London sites, besides being a pain to navigate, don't mention them explicitly

Apparently the Jacdaw range was sold to a gentleman in Australia: link |

That's correct. Dave is looking over the existing castings, making new moulds and generally getting things into good shape before re-launching them. I'm as impatient as anyone as my long-running WAS project is almost entirely dependent on these figures continuing to be available. |

Yes thats right Mr Dave Woolford now owns the 30mm line and will be adding new figures- David Wilson is to sculpt more figures- there are actually a good number of Masters already sculpted and Dave will sort all that out in the coming months |

A serious illness befell Dave's Grandmother, he is now home and in a position to get things moving albeit at a lesser pace than was anticipated. The new greens have been received from Mr.Wilson (aka Jacdaw) and the mold maker contacted so progress on that front. We will be operating as Left Bank Workshops not Jacdaw by request of Mr Wilson and so a similar set up as Old Glory UK had with the Jacdaw30 range. This arrangement happily leaves us in position to source and create other products and ranges under the Left Bank Workshop banner. There will be more about that once membership and advertising are sorted. V |

Siege Works Studios has come to an agreement with Left Bank Workshop to look after the day to day running of the ex Jackdaw ranges. I am currently spinning up and organising the various production molds and am about half way through the process. Will keep everyone informed how we are progressing. Either myself or Dave from Left Bank Workshops will keep you appraised. There will be great specials for all International customers which is big bonus if your a UK/EU or US gamer :) |
