In mid-March, the vehicles were put through a swim test and landing craft air cushion tests at the Amphibious Vehicle Test Branch at Camp Pendleton, Calif. U.S. Marine Corps Light Armored Vehicle Anti-Tank prototypes are in the midst of developmental tests of upgrades that could extend their lives for decades to come. The modernization program is taking shape at various sites throughout the country. "The LAV-AT modernization program is designed to improve mission effectiveness and supportability for Marines," said Col. Mark Brinkman, LAV program manager

I like that picture with the hammer head up (erect). Unless that's the way the equal out the wait distribution when swimming it? Note, to my memory, unless some new electrical break threw has taken place. You cannot, or should not fire the TOW missile system over body's of water. If, and when the wire touches water it shorts out the signal to the missile and you have lost guidance. |
