Yep, the alien shock troopers of the late and failed IndieGoGo campaign aren't going to Anvil Eight, they are out for preorder on CP Models instead as can be seen from the latter link. Anvil Eight is going to be running a KickStarter presently with some of PF's sculpts (or so the sculptor in question says). Most or all of them are going to be baseline human insofar as the previews have shown. |

According to one commentator, the IGG project tanked not only because it was very poorly publicized (some truth in that I suppose) and executed (not enough freebies, probably) but also significantly because of the wrong scale of the minis -- the difference between a 32mm and a 28mm alien being really crucial. Yeah, I thought it was an April fools joke too when I read it. |
