"After rigorous testing, the new Australian Light Armoured Vehicle surveillance variant, ALSAV-S, has been shown to significantly improve Army's Cavalry operations. The new vehicles tested during Exercise Kosta River in late March 2014, conducted at the Shoalwater Bay Training Area. Commanding Officer of 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (Queensland Mounted Infantry) Lieutenant Colonel Ash Collingburn said the vehicles were yet another tool in the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance toolbox. "The new vehicles are a game changer; the new capability they provide changes the way we think about Cavalry operations," Lieutenant Colonel Collingburn said

You can't see it for all that stuff hanging on it :-) There are a whole range of ASLAVs, PC, C, S, A, F, R.
Seem to be quite good in the wet too:
It's derived from the LAV25 program, only not quite sure of the real-term differences in 15mm. |

Geoff, as one of the guys involved in the Aussie services. The real world differences are primarily cosmetic on the gun-car variant (the 25mm one). We however, have the ASLAV-PC as shown below:
A lot of those are being retrofitted with the Konigsberg Remote Weapons System (with .50 cal or 40mm) following Afghanistan/ Iraq experience
The main difference can be seen in these models below:
Gaming wise, I've brought your LAV's for the express purpose of using as LAV-25 Gun cars for my USMC, and also for my modern Australians.
Of course, if you happen to start making an ASLV-PC
