Well, after two days of checking it appears the website is down for maintenance for quite some time. Anyone know how long this takes the guys there? |

Jon has been shutting down on the weekends lately to allow him to catch up with orders, shipping etc. He should be back up tomorrow. If you have not ordered from him before, it is definitely worth the wait. |

Yes don't worry he does it a lot. It will be open in a few days. It drives me mad LOL but it just the way it is. He gets so snowed under I think he has to shut down the site. The problem is its always just when I want to spend some money. :-) |

I just posted an order a few weeks ago and received it within a few days of the order. I have noticed the site was shut down over the weekend when I tried to check up on a few things. No worries though, the site states a one man op and the miniatures are grand. He tries for a week turnaround on orders. Well worth the small hassle! ;) |

I had good service from them as well. I do find their web site shut downs rather annoying though. Would it not be possible to just disable the shopping cart and leave the site up so people can browse? Window shopping as it were

It's not as easy as flipping a switch and turning off the shopping cart. My site is home made and each PayPal button is entered by hand, so it would probably take several days of editing to remove the buttons on all pages. It's not practical. That said, I've figured out a solution -- it's going to take a huge amount of work but once it's done switching the carts on and off will be simple. I can't even think about starting that until after tax season, however. |

Search it via archive.org. Works fine. Perhaps a link on the homepage would help? |
