Once again I'm looking for some help, ive tried searching on line for a good reference in WW2 Russian cavalry. I'm thinking of building a small group of between 6 and 12 figures. I'm prepared to scratchbuild/convert if I can find some figures that I could use for the basic figure. I've searched the net but I've not found a clear enough source so far. So thanks in advance for any help Cheers Russ |

I found Old Glory 25s has mounted WW2 Soviets in helmets. I guess for dismounted guys you could just use grunts. |

The just wear infantry uniforms, decent Russian cavalry are available in a wide range of scales so not sure why you'd need to convert. |

Robbys spot on scale wise 28mm, its abit of a pet project so if needed I will be spending a fair bit of time on it! As and when I feel like it, so if the basic uniform was the same then how about the horse tack. Like I say its a pet project so I would like it to be unique. |

Truscott Trotter, that's spot on. It's given me enough to go on. 11th ACR thank you also, its given me some ideas for poses if nothing else! I'm prepared to do afair amount of work to get these as I want them, like I said its a pet project. Thanks again everyone Cheers Russ |
