"Last year in July we reported on the fact that Russia will increase patrols off both coast of the United States.

On June 1 or a bit later we will resume constant patrolling of the world's oceans by strategic nuclear submarines," Russian navy Commander Adm. Vladimir Vysotsky said Friday.

This in apparent response to the "threat" posed by the United States which has adopted a "pre-emptive war strategy" and is considered by Russian military and intelligence officials as the single largest military threat to world peace and stability…"

Good the more they use them the faster they will use up their fuel and end up as scrap…. they can't refuel their reactors. Dumb design short coming.

Hmmmm, perhaps another way to look at it is they are there to "protect" us, after we've scrapped the Perry frigates, and drydocked half of our cruisers, in a secret deal that hasn't been made public yet.

Someone please tell the Canadian navy that they can stand down now…….

They have some beautiful fighter jets too, so wonder if they can provide CAPs for us as well, over our "Homeland"?

Reminder to the beancounters in the Pentagon, that we'd like at least as good a deal as all those African nations are getting.
