Ah 3mm goodness. Started working on the buildings and terrain for my 3mm offerings of the future. These are mainly to use in our play-testing for Galactic-Ground Wars. Got the idea to really generic buildings from the guys who did Mini Mech. Just wanted to go a step further and in the end we might just do our own line of the 3mm buildings or put together a tutorial of what to use to make 3mm-ish scaled urban terrain
but I get ahead of myself;) Started off by using Monopoly City buildings(not my pics)
Game of Life – old set
New set
then paint the whole set a neutral gray. Should provide a great urban sprawl to fight in or use for an objective. These are a few that I have worked up to be Shapeway'd in the near future
this last one is designed to be a "stackable" More to come

Triang Waterline series also has several pieces at a reasonable price that work well. And those are all die-cast too. I got mine at HobbyTown. link |

Indeed I did, they looked great. And part of the reason I got the ones I did. |

these are what I am planning to use for forest markers. I'll have one per stand and one stand per hex/inch. Will paint trees a light green for light woods and then a dark green for heavy woods. These are 15mm tall.
