I recently received an order from Baccus and it was all there and arrived in good time, about 3 weeks from announced ship date. He even corrected an error from a much earlier purchase that I had only recently noticed. My lesson learned was to listen to the merchant. Irregular Miniatures recommends that overseas customers use air rather than surface for better speed and tracking. I was trying to save a few pennies and opted for the surface. Here I am two months down the road from when Irregular shipped the items and still no packages. They are a good company with a great product. We were in communication and they did warn me. Maybe something will show up some day but in the future, I will follow their advice. |

That reminds me so much of ordering things from Military Modelling magazine ads back in the 70s. The magazines were already six months old by the time they arrived on shelves in New Zealand. Then you would order with postal notes that our socialist government only allowed us to buy at about GBP2.50 a day. Then six months later your package may or may not show up and may or may not attract 'import duties' that had to be paid before you picked up your few dozen Mike's Models 15mm blobs. I remember the first airmail orders I did were to Judges Guild for role-playing material. I thought I had been transported to the future! |
