Very nice Phil. Esp. love the dots painted on the out front of the shields of the cav at the back. Very tidy – you must have great control of a brush.

I love this period of the byzantine history. Cornered in Anatolia they beat every enemy to seize again Costantinopolis!

Reminds me I got a pair of partially painted Byzantine armies off Ebay. Have to dig them out and add them to the current to do 'pile.'

@ Perris0707 yes I am working a DBA campaign project, putting the armies together map second, table terrain latter etc.
