Looking at these Copplestone horse tribes infantry link packs tm12 and tm 13 and these Magister Militum vikings
Does anyone have a link to a comparison photo of these two ranges. I have found the following two photos on the link below showing Copplestone Horse tribes one with Kallistra and one with an ashigaru from Magister Militum link How do they compare? What shall I do? Does anyone know? thanks in advance for any help or suggestions Mongo |

I haven't any pictures but I do have some Copplestone (Orcs and personalities), GW 10mm (Five Armies and Warmaster), Pendraken and Magister Militum (Ancients) that all mix well in terms of heights. GW & Copplestone are based on strips, that's because Copplestone did most of them whilst at GW and then when he set up his own business. Pendraken and MM are all individually based which is no real issue but worth considering. Kallistra is not 10mm but really 12mm or even small 15mm. They do very nice figures but are not really compatible which is a real shame which tends to put collections into one camp or the other. Personally – I'd advise you to mix and match Copplestone, Pendraken and MM. If you can get any GW models they are also good, but tend to become very costly 2nd hand. You'll need to base the Copplestone units in their own groups due to the strip mounting; that'll make a nice shieldwall looking unit. Separate figures perhaps for a less organised formation. |
