Many of the "green" roofing setups have plants which do not require mowing---fyi Hobbit town with a castle just across the street--and a photo with a tourbus--tourist area or real housing?!?!? |

Yea, I'd worry about mold and water leak issues, though being underground is very energy efficient. Probably reduces energy needs for heating and cooling by about 80%, or so. |

Any house can get mold or water leaks. Just need to do a proper job of water proofing like you would a foundation I imagine. |
