ANybody seen a female pilot, or one that looks "pilotish". I need one for a "downed pilot rescue" scenario and would prefer a female. Ah cmon, you know why, guys go for that sort of thing.

Not really a pilot, and not the best of sculpts, but it might serve:

For female anything I normally first look at hfminis.co.uk the only two I think might be downed pilots are Widow

Checking her salvaged GPS and Ekaterina
picture
her outfit might paint up as a flight suit but both are a bit over armed in my view.

Everywhere else I thought of who's outfits look pilotish have over sized weapons in their hand except possibly heresyminiatures.com ‘s Haylee

picture
who has a over sized spanner.

The AT-43 plastic figures had a pair of female mech pilots in the Red Blok faction. Miniature Market still has at least one set--but it has gotten pretty pricey now: link

Thanks guys. Tillie looks awesome, especially since the pilot is to be a Neo-Soviet. But ouch on the price for one fig. Hmm

Yea the price on most of the nicer figures are up there. You might chalk it up to them not being something that is going to be purchased in mass and is a specially figure. That is how I would justify the cost if it is important for your scenario. grin

A note on Tillie she is 32 mm so she is going to truely be long, tall, and good looking. thumbs up

Personally I think I would go for one of the two choices offered by Hasslefree. After all Kev is the master of female character figures and they are truly 28 mm and nicely proportional. I do not have a problem with the armament on the pilots as I believe it is SOP for pilots and crew to carry side arms in case they are downed and even the smg appears reasonable in a Science Fiction setting. After all it could be a special collapsible weapon that the pilot assembles upon making landfall.

x42brown, I had to do some research as I did not get the Ekaterina reference. It is the Slavic or Russian version of Katherine, i.e., Katie, or more accurately CATI, as in, Computer Assisted Telephone Interview. Nice one sir. thumbs up

some of gzg's combat babes might suit, and are very affordable, for example:

or from their 'adult collectibles' range:

there are also ship's crew including pilots in several of their ranges, but not all have photos, so these two above seem the best bet.

All can be found at:

No "might" about it. When you're only going to sell one of that mini to people, the keeping-the-business-in-business math indicates that the price will HAVE to be higher to pay for the master and the mold in the same amount of time as a high-production model.

That is pretty much what I thought Lion. I mean you should see how much "Garage Kits" go for sometimes. It really is an issue of a limited run. I have considered buying some of the Bombshell Babes figures just because. thumbs up

WOW! There are some real quality sculpts shown above, some from companys that I was unaware of. Real good stuff. Thanks for posting.

Check The Artisan pulp range( North Star Miniatures) there is a female pilot with a machine pistol, which would need to be changed but their prices are not so runerious, use sci fi weapons from Heresy Miniatures (nice guy to deal with BTW) and you got a classical Amelia Erhart type pilot part pulp, part sci fi but all gal 8_)

CMoN has (or at least had) a female Mech Pilot that I'd picked up a while back, works rather well.
