So….what did everybody get?

Pretty light for me. A few more packs of Empress SCW International Brigade and Assaltos from Age of Glory.

The Red Devils Disposable Heroes Campaign book

A box of built and primed Blood Angels items including a Baal Predator, Rhino, 10 man tactical squad, 5 Devastators and 5 Death Company plus codex at a really great price in Wally's Basement.

To the guy who stood in font of the Flea Market table for what seemed to be 10 min deciding NOT to purchase the 25 mm Rev War Buildings….My Father Thanks you, My Mother Thanks you, My Sister Thanks you and I THANK YOU.

I got a Viking boat for SAGA, Some Foundary Chinese Boxers, Greek Cav and some nicely painted F&I War characters.

I made out like a bandit. A friend of mine picked up the dytopian legions starter for a steal. Thanks whoever had that. I bought all kinds of stuff for various projects. My big one was getting into Spinespur and All quiet on the martian front.

Bunch of Perry ACW stuff
Renegade WWI brits for my 1914 project
Misc tanks for Bolt Action

Light. Some books from the flea, and random spare War of 1812 figures from Age of Glory, some Knuckleduster figures from SGMM. Also, some odds and ends from ATKM.

I would have dropped more, but I only had one day there.

I was seriously considering PaperTerrain's stuff, and some of the wooden kit bits for blockhouses and settler's cabins and all.

And the Flea had LOTS of great stuff on Friday. Which is why my loot from the Dealer's Area was so light. Tough to choose between the two.

First time I've ever had that problem.

I bought mainly flocking supplies and paint, but there were a few packs of 20mm WW II. I would have bought LOTS of FAA models but Lost Battalion didn't have enough stock to sell, apparently.

I did come home with about $650 USD I made in the Flea Market though, so the con was a big profit for me overall. 8)=

Medium light purchases for me. Some Saga heroes, WW1 Russians, WW2 early war Poles, SCW Italians that will have to proxy as WW2 dismounted Polish Cavalry….all 28mm.

Best thing is they are all cleaned, based, primed and some even are being painted right now!

Doctor Merkury15 Mar 2014 4:23 p.m. PST

I got Empress Minis SCW packs, Republican Command and 50mm mortar team, some 15mm Highlander studio stuff and the find of the con, a complete copy of Gammarauders boardgame withthe supplement in the flea market for $25. USD

Great time!

From what others said it would be considered really light for me, some super glue and three bottles of paint. Not buying just painting what I already have.

Dynaman878916 Mar 2014 6:18 a.m. PST

I did not go but purchased some stuff online as a consolation prize, my did not go to CW loot is Old Glory 17 lbers, 6 lbers, UK Anti-tank gunners, SU85s, M10, and Sextons, a pack of PSC Cromwells, and from GHQ a Cromwell combat command and a pack of King Tigers. The money NOT spent on hotels and gas and tolls goes a long way…

I bought some number dice for Chain of Command. My friend bought nothing. No wonder dealers are dropping out.

Moe the Great16 Mar 2014 6:25 a.m. PST

I only picked up a few small things that I didn't know I needed. Some horde bases for my zombies and a few misc rules.

Thanks to everyone who cleaned me out at Saturdays flea market.

From the dealer room I got another mini-tape measure and some specialized six-siders --skull/crossbones, crabs, and cats as the one (or is it six?) face, three each. From the same vendor Mrs. Carp got 2 14-sided 7 deadly sins/7 virtues dice and 1 10-commandments die. She's going to give one of the sins/virtues dice to our pastor for emergency sermon ideas. She also got a tube of 6-siders that proceeded to roll the worst she'd ever rolled (pre-cursed dice? great gift for that problem player…). she also picked up a couple of 6-siders with a demon face. At the very end of Saturday's vendor session, she bought some Sikh Gnome figures from Brigade Games, courteously served by Jlundberg in his gamer-as-merchant role.
Wally's basement netted me a couple of baggies of plastic 1/72 figs (American Rev War Militia, N.Vietnamese), a Yesteryear 1:64 Beer truck for my Pulp/Gangster games, a copy of Osprey's Vanguard "Confederate Ironclads" and my big score: 2 packs of Pulp Figures Rocketmen, on foot and flying!

jpipes16 Mar 2014 8:02 a.m. PST

In the flea market I picked up two huge finds, a beautifully painted very large 15mm AWI collection consisting of about 1000 figs, and a huge painted and super detailed Epic 40k collection consisting of the most detailed Epic scale figs and units I have ever seen. Got a great deal on the AWI and paid a pretty penny for the Epic collection. The AWI is a perfect complement to my existing collection as it fills out a bunch of units I needed and the painting quality is top notch. Includes beautiful flag stands and as a huge bonus a few hundred Crown and Jacobite figs in corrrect uniforms for the Jacobite Rebellion in 1745. The Jacobites have individually painted tartans. The Epic stuff is unique in that the owner painstakingly worked to detail what are in essence 6mm figs! Individual unit numbers on the APCs and AFVs, NCO insignia on the infantry stands, and each stand nicely flocked. Collection included Imperial Guard and Space Marines both in well executed paint schemes. The IG in particular is great with a wonderful elaborate tiger stripe scheme. As mentioned I paid a pretty penny for the Epic lot but its huge (a few hundred units) and I can now replace my existing armies with this better painted stuff.

Aside from those two stunners I got a small lot of 15mm British for North Africa, about 50 stands of 15mm Romans, 30 stands of 15mm Medieval, and about 5-6 feet of 15mm fence. Also got two painted 15mm ACW mortar ships. No intereting books or rules this time but my first two collections more than made up for it!

And once again I sold just about everything I brought to sell! Some very happy folks that stopped by my table, especially the guy who bought my entire 28mm FIW Muskets & Tomahawks collection.

A great convention. Can't wait till the next one!

Found some very nice 15mm scale buildings suitable for Holland. An Osprey book, a jar of paint, some artillery crews and aircraft roundels. Sold off a box of stuff on Sunday morning that paid for a tank of gas home. Nice weekend.

Dealer hall equaled one $30 USD book of uniforms. Flea market gets included a Byzantine army unpainted Minifigs and Freikorps for $68. USD Also some great hills and old 1/72 type terrain pieces with a few other odds and ends for $20. USD Also found dice for my son's modified Star Wars games (heroscape). Last thing was a wonderful chocolate brown NJCon 6 fire in the east tee shirt $20. USD I also carried around a great big hang-over that only cost me my dignity.

Well, I thought I did pretty well….
I dropped a couple hundred in the dealer hall… more FoW stuff (easy to do) and I dropped another hundred of so in the basement… I found some items I have been looking for and their prices were awesome…. so awesome in fact that when I got back to my basement table, I lowered my prices and even gave a few packs of miniatures away yo fellow LOTR youth players…

Thanks to all of the folks offereing great deals!!! It was nice to see some well priced items… I also let soem stuff go very cheaply and am not the worse for wear for it!

I under spent this time … Magazines, some paint, some cool rubber road pieces and fields … a board game "Syracuse" … and in flea market a $1 USD book on Brandywine and 24 painted Spartans. You can never have enough Spartans.

And hey Manser … Vampires (even SM ones) are BAD

My collection is in pretty good shape so I didn't get much. Some 28mm Gripping Beast plastics from Architects of War was about it from the dealers. I expect at some point to start on some 28mm French Revolutionary War from Eureka but not until my Waterloo project is done.

Got some 28mm Perry Napoleonics from the flea market.

Really noticing the loss of Wargames with pretty much no choice for 15mm pre gunpowder outside of Viking Forge whose stocks were really low.

Yes, we did run out of a few items. Sales were very good and we have been having a hard time keeping up. We will try to bring more to Fall In.
