Finally Victor Perry and EBob have finished the greens for this great new range of ACW figures for Adventure Miniatures Australia. The range will consist of five command (1 x Officer, 1 x SNCO, 1 x Drummer and 2 x Colour Bearers) and five other ranks figures for the famed 14th Brooklyn. There is also talk that Victor may include at some time later a mounted officer and a trumpeter. However until that time it will just be the ten figures you see now. The figures should be ready for release from mid to late April this year, so not long to wait and when released they will be available through Elite Miniatures Australia.

Interesting how everyone is coming out with the 14th Brooklyn now. I think we are now waiting on the Perry's to make them too!

I like these poses. While it is true a lot of companies are making them, these are the first casual marching poses I have seen.

Hopefully the cost will not be too much for them and that someone will carry them in the USA.

Hi Guys thinks for the comments and you are correct in the number of companies making the figures, just look at this way you will now have more to chose from. I am not sure how Victor will package them but the other figures in the range sell in four figures blisters at $10.00 USD Aust a pack. Cavalry are three figures and horses for $14.00 USD Aust. I will have to chase that one up for you.

The caps they are wearing are wrong. They wore Kepis NOT Forage Caps as depicted.

Don,

Thank you for the advice I have passed your information onto Victor. I don't think it should be too hard to change the top of the forage cap to look more like the kepi.

All the best

The miniatures look great and although it's not a deal-breaker, for further additions to the line, in the future the rifles or muskets should be changed to 3 bands. I know some people will call it nit-picking, but just wanted to point it out for reference. I love the Mark Fenlon figures and these will be a welcome addition!

FireZouave thanks for your points and I will pass them onto Victor and Ebob, as they will soon be making the Louisiana Zouaves and more mounted command figures for this period.

Thanks again

Nathan

I think they had shoulder knots on their jackets, not epaulettes.
Worth checking as it was rather rare to have shoulder knots.

nice!

Victor needs to sculpt his dismounted Cavalry for both sides!
