I have a friend who is an aviation buff and a year ago he sent me pics of a junk yard in Murmansk. In it they had found 3 wrecked ME109's and bought all the bits and had them shipped back to Australia. It turns out they have enough parts to re-assemble a complete plane and still have numerous spare parts. Color me green with envy. Dave |
