Hi guys!

I've just managed to build a Locust mech using a correction tape dispenser, 2 disposable dental floss dispensers and lots of plastic rods and bits:

Nice! I loved the Locust cause it was so fast. Couldn't take a hit, but it could run for sure.

Ha yes..was there a battletech novel about Locust mech pilots? Anyone read before?

Dr Mathias Fezian13 Mar 2014 8:37 a.m. PST

jpattern213 Mar 2014 8:39 a.m. PST

That's a great scratchbuild!

I've wanted to scratch a 28mm Cicada for years, but other projects keep pushing that one to the background.

The first Grey Death Legion book featured a Locust on the cover, one of the main characters (Lori) piloted it.

Kit bash looks great, I always liked the Locust over the jumpy-20 tonners (like the Wasp and Stinger).
