DreadBall Ultimate lets you play DreadBall with up to six players. The box also includes four giant MVPs and the Season Three rulebook.

Nice review.

If you plan on picking up even 2 of the giants included in DB:U, it's worth your while to pick up the boxed set. At $20 USD/giant mini if bought separately, DB:U pays off just on model savings. Considering you also get a $20 USD retail 3rd season rulebook, too…Good stuff.

I'm like you on the actual game itself.
I prefer one-on-one matches with DB:U being for a big exhibition type game.

… And right now, you can buy Ultimate as an add-on with the DBX kickstarter for only $40. USD

That's good news, evil---and another draw for DBX if folks were looking to support KS.

For those who want the game/minis in the next couple of days (it's been out for months), they can also get it from discount retailers for $45 USD-$50 range.
