Damn well painted. Superbly blended and very fine flesh tones, as good a study as you are likely to get on a figurine. Bit too ruddy for my tastes but that is personal preference and quite frankly trifling. Artist Alexandre Cortina Bonastre link

agreed on the ruddy. I think this skin tone on Zeus is much better Liz and definitely the best lighting bolt effect I have seen (painter Xavier Payet), particularly on the arm. I'm not sure if Alexandre painted the Hoplite but he definitely sculpted both. I will need to study these a bit more before I continue on with my woodland Indians or start work on the Dacians, the flesh shading and highlighting really works well and there is plenty to paint on both of those armies Photo blocked by adult filter: "" regards dave |

Thats some painful sunburn he's got. I guess olive oil is not exactly SPF 100. |

Arharhghghg! His site is a Facebook site. Is there anything on there about how he blended the skin tones? Also
someone who know about the helmets
how do you get one to stay like that? I've seen that in tons of models but can't imagine it doing anything other than falling off within 1/2 second. |
