link I'm keeping myself honest. Especially when all the Battlefoam I want is about $800.00 USD and another Baneblade is $160.00 USD! Blake |

Battlefoam is a brand of storage/carrying cases for miniatures. |

battlefoam.com I bought some for my Blood Angels because it was the only way to fit the Stormraven Gunships! The custom foam is $33.99 USD a tray (no matter how deep or thin you want it). I need lots of custom foam with two of the large 1520 Battlefoam storage bags for all the vehicles and figures I own in my Deathwing and Chaos Space Marine/Demons army. The foam alone and a 1520 bag for the each is about $400.00 USD with tax if I order it through a local shop. I can only afford to put one army in foam at a time. So I think the CSM army will be the next to be put into foam. I own Sable bags for both my Deathwing and Chaos Space Marines. But I have too many vehicles for my current bags to hold. Ugh

You could always make your own. Hot write cutter + local foam supplier riotous be far cheaper, and you can get foam pre cut to fit your existing bags. |

How did a post about the cost of Battlefoam turn into an anti-GW rant? |
Seamus | 14 Mar 2014 7:25 a.m. PST |
Because the blog article linked in the original post partially is an anti-GW rant? |

Fairly normal problem for wargamers, Blake! I have the same problem and sold off the following armies: Deathwing, a Ravenwing bike formation, Tyranids, Tau, Grey Knights, two Inquisitor formations, some GK Terminators, World Eaters, Death Guard, and a 15mm Byzantine army. Then started five 15mm sci fi armies, Imperial Titans, several other vehicles and other stuff for my current marines, and expanded my Blood Angels by several dreads, 5 drop pods, a death company and also bought seven board games. Not to mention buying up a bunch of terrain for my Zombie game. So yeah I'm back where I started! Ain't life grand? -Edgar |
