You'll have to admit the bar fight wasn't quite in the Yank neighborhood.

It's a long boat ride to that wrong side of town where they're been bar fighting for thousands of years.

Yep Baconfat. Took President Woodrow Wilson almost two years AFTER the Lusitania's sinking to whip up common Americans to support a war that the US entered (imho) to ensure that US arms dealers and other US interests wouldn't lose their investments by a general cessation of hostilities due to exhaustion/stalemate by the original principals in the fight.
