Howdy,

Rules: Command Decision – Test of Battle
Scale: 15mm

A few photos from JD's Vietnam game on Saturday morning at Cold Wars. I did not take pictures of the entire game, just my flank. The ACAV advance on the US right was far more exciting amd dramatic. I ran a NVA battalion, and chose not to engage the US, since they were loaded for bear. In the center, the US player got distracted chasing VC irregulars, and never made it to his objectives. The US player I was facing was very cautious, and I never got to torment him (i.e., I could not engage on favorable terms). He lost a patrol stand, I took no losses.

I did not have my camera for other games such as Daniel's Assault on Tobruk, Thursday evening, or his Senussi game on Saturday afternoon. My Komarow game is already posted.

Cod Wars was a blast.

Photo 1 – US left flank forces 2 infantry companies, with tank and battalion HQ

Photo 2 – Initial Commie positions (dummies, except for the recoiless rifle and command)

Photo 3 – Actual Commie bunker complex

Photo 4 – Abandoning initial position, delaying US with mortar H&I fire

Photo 5 – Delaying US stream crossing with Mortar fire

Photo 6 – Bug out, commies abandon bunker complex prior to US attack

Ponder on,

JAS
