Finally got some 6 day war gaming in. This was a great battle and I lot of fun. It really came down to the wire a couple of times. Full AAR can be found here link Israeli Recon jeeps. This was one of the best performing units for me. The recoilless rifle was great and even took out an M48.

Excellent AAR and very nice battlefield to fight over. I particularly liked your hills. While not normally a fan of stepped hills, yours looked really good. Are they available commercially, and if so, who makes them please? Well done. K |

Great looking game! Thanks for sharing it. Who made the the recoiless rifle jeeps? Love the "Rat Patrol" aspect/look of those! VB |

@Alcibiades Those hills were made by my Jordanian opponent(I believe). They are typically used for Italy battles but work great for the west bank. @VonBurge The Jeeps are Battlefront Jeeps with recoilless rifles coming from the Battlefront M113 platic box set. They aren't in the Fate of a Nation booklet but were a logical addition to the game. Both sides had a platoon of 4. @VonTed Parkour! or just solid resin building :) |

Great report, thanks for sharing. It motivated me too grab my two ZSU-57 and paint them up. Have been thinking of doing the recon jeeps as well, nice execution. Looked like air power only bounced bombs once, sad showing. Chris |

@Spooner Air was okay. I rolled well so it showed up often however, since I was attacking in Hold the Line there were few if any eligible targets for my planes to hit. I think my total tally for air was the loss of a single 25lb gun and a couple of Infantry teams. Didn't help that he bagged a couple with .50 AA and bounced a bomb or two. There are much much better options for the Israelis to take over Air support but we figured it would be historical and look cool. @VonTed Cool! let us know how it goes. |
