Hi everyone, I'm just starting out in Microarmour. First few finished pieces. I'm really happy with the way they've turned out. These were just done as quick testers before doing larger forces. Based up for my own rules which I'm hoping to publish once I get them playtested enough and am happy with them. I'm aware I've painted up an M2A2 Bradley which whilst already adopted for service wasn't actually prominent in theatre for ODS. I've ordered some earlier Bradleys to replace these. All vehicles in these are from Scotia, infantry are from Heroics and Ros.

Yeah FoW small and medium bases for the tanks and a 1p for the infantry fireteam. I'm sure some would say they're oversized but I like the added protection the barrels especially for the hugely overhanging barrels of the soviet armour. |

they are nice, and do not bother to order the 2A1, by the time Desert Sabre (the ground offensive) started only the 24th Mech and some divisional cavalry had them, everyone lese had been re-equipped by the 2A2. The 2nd ACR got 2A2 to replace the 3A1 they had when they were shipped (this bit came from one of the troop commanders
we shared a PhD supervisor
). Again real good job. |

Oh interesting information Arrigo. I'm painting these up primarially to do a battle vaguely based on the battle of 73 Easting which involved the 2nd ACR. Typically I've already ordered the earlier Bradleys. Oh well extra IFVs never hurt anyone :D |

So these things just pretty much paint themselves now.
10 out of the 12 BMP-1 for my full Iraqi infantry company.
Something a bit different. An Iraqi T-55 Enigma.

Well, you have the vanilla Bradley for the 24th Mech. 73 Easting
the chap I know was on one of the flanks covering McMaster's troop. Nice BMP, the enigma, well painted but the casting is not the best of Scotia. One thing (caveat: I could be off base due to the pictures), i hav e seen some captured Iraqi armor at Bovington Camp ant the color seemed a tad more yellow on the BMP1 and T55 the T-62 instead (at least from my picture and it is a bit dark, I have to ask the colleague that was with me with a much better camera
a PLA tank officer
) seems spot on. By the way have a look at the Type 69 from H&R it is a new sculpt from Ian Armstrong and it is really nice. |

Hmm no I came to the same conclusion today Arrigo. I think I've found the perfect colour to paint my Israelis when I finally get around to doing them though so that's something. But yes I think I'm going to repaint these to a lighter more yellowy colour. Ordered some new paints today that will hopefully do the job. I have the vallejo bleached bone equivalent but its not the right shade either. I'll have to take a look at the H&R sculpt. I wish more 6mm manufacturers had more complete images of their ranges! |

So I decided the Iraqis were painted too dark. So I repainted them!

Great! I need to do another batch of mine. I will try to ask Junyu for his pictures to share. |

Iraqi mechanised infantry company
A platoons worth of bradleys with sculpted stowage.
A second platoon.
And a third. |
