In anticipation of the much awaited Raiders expansion to the excellent dark age rules Dux Britanniarum from Too Fat Lardies, I have painted up a pictish force.

The lord with his champion, a standard bearer and a lesser noble.

Skirmish cavalry.

One of the four groups of raiders.

More pic(t)s (sorry …) on my blog: conflictofinterests.blogspot.se/2014/03/pictish-raiders.html

very nice!

I'm just about to buy the rules, both for the period given and for use with my LOTR stuff(after some mild modifications of course!)

Very nice, especially the base work and shields.

Many thanks for your kind words!

Crucible Orc, I've read some blogposts about using Dux Brit for LotR and it seemed a lot of fun. You could use the rules pretty much as they are or do a more ambitious adaption. Either way I'm sure you'll have a blast – the rules are really excellent.
