Could have been written a hundred years ago or fifty years ago or yesterday, and have been no different— a young man far from home, wanting to know that his family still thinks of him, and wanting them to know he thinks and prays for them. Whether clad in lorica segment or BDUs, the things that really matter to a soldier are eternal.

Edit: Corrected BTUs to BDUs. I'd blame the spellcheck, but I think I screwed that up on my own…
