I read the pdf of the beautiful terrain boards from Bruce Weigle, I also have some baccus 6mm ACW iniatures. So, I like to build the Gettysburg battlefield as an terrain board. Maybe for the start only the northern part to play the first day. Mr Weigle made the buildings smaller, but I like the overall look. But maybe I still buy the terrain from total battle miniatures or I make my own smaller Lutheran College. I bought the great book from Gotfried to get some maps. Now I know the location of every field and fence, but know little about the hights of the hills and ridges :-)
So I need a good topographical map about gettysburg.
Any tips, pictures and help is very welcome!
Thanks!

Yeah the board peeled apart – peg board proved to be a bad choice. Right now I just don't have anywhere to work on it and rebuild it.

Bitter Angels is on the back burner, due to come back this spring.

I used Desjardin map from Friends of Gettysburg.

I forgot, I have the Guns of Gettysburg boardgame. Why not use the mapboard as a plan for the gameterrain? May it work or what could be the problems?

About the Friends of Gettysburg maps: I am from Germany so it is tricky to get those maps.

'Extra crispy' that link is brilliant, great maps.
I don't know if this link will work but if anyone is interested then check out a refight of Gettysburg game we played recently, using DBACW.

If it doesn't work go to the DBN wargaming site and check out the battle.
