Wow – need a few good men Down Under?

Email sent! We have already been looking at having a demo at the Hall of Heroes, Campbelltown New South Wales, so great timing!

Battle Group xxx is good for both 15mm and 20mm – same distances apply to both…

Yup… 15mm is more than welcome… we dont care what toys you play with as long as its fun!

OK but all my stuff is based for FOW.
Not a problem, you will simply need some wound markers (which you have for the Flames of Vietnam rules, anyway, right?)

Or you could buy one platoon blister for each company, base those individually, and use them to make change.

Not sure I'm following your logic mate. Try or don't try these rules as you feel inclined, but since they don't have a basing convention, and are also 1:1, don't let the basing aspect be an issue is what we're saying…

Also, I don't really see Battle Group as a rival for Bolt Action or COC, as its more than a skirmish game – its scalable from Platoon to Battalion level gaming.

I'm not even sure its a rival to FOW really – I certainly intend to use both rules, albeit mainly Battle Group for 20mm. Don't get me wrong, FOW is just fine when you need something fast and convenient, but when your in the mood for fine dining, to my mind these BattleGroup add a whole lot more authenticity and realism for not a lot more complexity. For what its worth, I played one of the scenarios with my 20mm figures which I have based scaled up for 20mm FOW, and it worked fine with just using red dice as casualty markers:

Sorry about the food analogy, worked thru lunch – I could eat a horse and chase the rider right now!

Don't go there! :-)
