With all of the great 15mm sci-fi minis out there I think it's time for me to take the plunge too. I'd like a ruleset that allows for larger battles, company or batallion size. I'd also prefer squad basing like in fow. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. |

Quadrant 7 fits the bill; handles a company plus attachments for each side. -Will |

I am all ears as well. Are there any Sci Fi rules that are on the scale of Fist Full of TOWs? |

The rule set is actually called Quadrant 13, if you are talking about the one published by Two Fat Lardies. |

Argh, it IS Quadrant 13, sorry about that! No idea how I got 7 instead of 13

5150 Star Army or 5150 Battalion Command. (yeah, I'm a fan) Star Army uses individual basing and is designed to handle a platoon, some vehicles, mechs and the occasional air strike. BA is squad based designed to handle a company plus vehicles, mechs and aircraft. Good hunting. |

Future War Commander, Hammer's Slammers, Alien Squad Leader, and Critical Mass to name a few. |

Hammers, especially if you're more interested in armour. |

Are there any Sci Fi rules that are on the scale of Fist Full of TOWs? In honour of kyoteblue I suggest GDW's Striker II (OOP) each base is a platoon equivalent. However you can get the rules either here link on a CD with all the Traveller TNE RPG set or just the Striker II rules set here link as a pdf |

The closest set of SF style Fist Full of Tows is a set for the War of the Worlds called Fist Full of Tripods. It is a free set. PDF link |

Heinz, "but I don't really think so anymore
" got any suggestions for a clearinghouse of info? I agree it's not as good as it used to be, but I'm not aware of a replacement. Phil |

"Arise from your grave, thread that is of interest to me!.." I've been looking for a copy of G-Cav for a little while now without much luck. Von Trknkenessen, did you have any luck with that 30th anniversary edition? Failing that, does anybody have a copy they'd be willing to part with? |
