Great report. Makes me want to get my armies back out on the table for a game of Maurice. Greg C. |

Don't hear much about Maurice (practically died overnight) nowadays compared to the hooplah when it was released, very interesting report and nicely set up game. regards dave |

Yeah there was a big hype as it was released, but it is not dead now. More and more people play it over here and register at the honour board. |

Thanks for your comments all! Yes I agree, WCTFreak, fairly active in Australia too – we are avid fans in Wollongong, and I've seen games at the Sydney convention, MOAB. Still going well, I'd say

Unfortunately I couldn't find a game at Cancon, if there was one it was well hidden. It is good to read someone is still carrying the flame, it was as if the rules didn't last more than 12 months which would be pretty disappointing outcome. regards dave |

Sadly I couldn't make Cancon but I thought one of the participation games was: "Frederick Faces East: A series of Seven Years War battles with Prussia engaged with Russia and Austria using Maurice. This game runs: Saturday (9:00am to 5:30pm) and Sunday (9:00am to 5:30pm)". I'm very interested to hear how this went from attendees. |

Didn't happen. I was pretty disappointed actually. |
