The project is moving along. Not a ton of work done yesterday, but I did work out some conceptual issues.

Wow! You are dedicating a lot of space to this cool project. Are you planning to mount another board on top so the table can be used for other games as well? |

I am lucky enough to have a full basement to myself, mostly. The washer and dryer take some space, but I have a lot of room. The board is in 4 sections, about 2 feet by 3 feet each. I will cram it in some place. Xin |

Looks like it splits into quarters. The tape is holding the seams together. I was just thinking of a few ways to add a clip mechanism to foam so you can slot them together. |

Will ships be able to move onto the ridges or are they confined to the inner part? |

Will ships be able to move onto the ridges or are they confined to the inner part? At first I was thinking no, reason being, the Crater is kept free of floating debris by Repulsors. And flying above it will be VERY hazardous. Now I am thinking of allowing a "popup" to avoid collisions but at the chance of taking damage. IE, they pop up quick to avoid the wall, and dive right back down. Will have to play test it. Xin |

looking good, I also think it will be a good table for ground combat. |
