Gents, Clinton the Computer Strategies rules guy came around on Saturday and I put on a fairly simple 15mm Western Desert game. First time I've used the WWII stuff for a while. Here is how it went: link Overall I was very impressed and will be using them again. If you are truly looking for "something different", then have a look. BTW I'm not a sock puppet or getting any gain from this.
Cheers, Mick |

Is Iron Tigers a 1 tank = 1 tank, 1 man = 1 man ruleset? |

From the blog link it looks like it is a one model to one platoon type of game. |

Thanks for the comments. That Stuka is supposed to be coming in at 300m
You can set the height that it comes in to attack. Ground forces within range can shoot back. I need to put it on a proper flight stand! The ratio is very flexible. I like to run battalions and using the ground scale of 1mm=1m you can work out a realistic number of models/stands. On your army list you nominate how many elements make up your unit. With the 15mm figures, it tends to give it the hub to hub look that some don't like. But it fits perfectly with the groundscale. |

Hi Razor78, The scale is variable so you can have 1 figure = 1 Tank or 1 figure = 4 (or more) tanks, so it scales up fairly well for larger battles. Ships are 1 figure = i ship only. I play IT and it runs well. |

Thanks Mick – interesting concept and a great looking game! You know how much of a dinosaur I am though! |

Hi Ralph. If you can organise mega-games like Borodino, Gettysburg and Waterloo you'll find these easy. Another good point is that these rules handle amphibious actions and air cover and ground attack actions. |
