Looking for other 54mm mini's to use with my Inquisitor stuff. I know of & have some of the Dark Age Dragyri which fit in well, but am also looking for sci-fi & fetish human types.

These are not 54 mm...but they are larger then most models, the Sci-Fi range is 40 mm.

:)

Good Luck.

Thanks Elf! Probably not all that useful for Inquisitor, but quite nice mini's. Maybe I could use some as large creatures with my Confrontation, Disturbia or Dark Age mini's.

Spyglass do 2 54mm, they're fantasy but if you're a good converter you could do something with them?

What about large demon types from other manufacturers?

Krakrakra10 Dec 2004 7:25 a.m. PST

Maybe. Monsters & demons are not too hard to find. But sci-fi & fetish types apparently are :-( I know napoleonics or other historicals with conversions could work out well for some warbands, but what I really need for mine are some bondage chicks & other S/M types, and if possible some hi-tech futuristic spacepeople to shoot those up.

Take a look at Four-Color's Supersystem mini "Ox" (he's one of the "bricks") for an excellent base model for conversions. He's very easy to turn into a steroid-abusing Goliath ganger, or an Adeptus Mechanicus combat servitor, or that big guy in every Imp Guard squad that seems to lug around all the heavy weapon ammo. A head and/or arm swap or two and you're good to go.

You could try those plastic Aliens/Colonial Marines figures from Tree House Kids. The Colonial Mariens are not super detailed but would make some suitable Imperial Guardsmen. I've compared them with Inquisitor and 1/35 figures and they are quite compatible in size. Some of their poses may not make them fit on standard Inquisitor bases though.

Another thing you can try is 1/35th scale styrene soldiers from the armor section of your hobby shop, from Italieri, Tamiya, and Dragon Models. Many Imperial Guardsmen have a bit of a retro-WWII look so there is a large selection to choose from. Also this is a cheap way to get lots of plastic bitz for custom jobs to you Inquisitor figures. Lots of opportunities for terrain in that section of your FLGS too.

Also check out those 54mm pewter figures from companies like Andrea. These figures are mostly historical, but there are some sci-fi and fantasy minis in their catalogs. They are certainly more expensive than the plastic figures but not too much more than most Inquisitor figures. I've seen a Rambo figure that I thought would make a great Catachan Guardsman.

As above, Andrea have a few in their lists that would do nicely.

link has a couple, and if you search there are terminator, robocop, matrix and similar in there. Reasonable prices too - about 15 Euros seems to be the normal kit price for foot figures.

jjmodels has exactly what you are looking for. I won't provide a link, it is adult.

JJModels has some nice & appropriate stuff. unfortunately they're all 100mm+.

Anyway, thanks everyone for their suggestions!
